CO-FOUNDERS

Jamie Levine,
BBA, ACE, ACBE Founder, B.A.B.Y. Health and Fitness Programs
Ms. Levine founded B.A.B.Y. in 1997. She is a certified Personal Trainer with a specialty in pre and postnatal fitness and a certified Birth Educator. She has brought pre and postnatal programs to over 4000 women throughout Fairfield County, CT, Westchester, NY and Manhattan. She also currently teaches Childbirth Education classes at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT. She has been seen on local and national television addressing the benefits of exercise among pre and postnatal women and has been featured in major publications throughout the country. Ms. Levine has 3 children, including a son and identical twin girls.

Laurie Renzulli,
MBA Director, Sales and Marketing, Co-Founder B.A.B.Y. Health and Fitness Corporate Programs
Ms. Renzulli is a health care professional with over twelve years of managed care experience, including National Account client management as well as Provider Contracting and Education. Her clients benefited from her keen interest in promoting effective wellness programs and making quality care affordable. Laurie's educational background is in health policy, with a concentration in cost management. She holds a BA from the University of Rochester and earned her MBA in Marketing from Fordham University. She is a licensed Life and Health Agent. She and her daughter enjoyed the benefits of the B.A.B.Y. Health and Fitness classes.
ADVISORY BOARD
Dr. Robert J. Goldberg,
M.D. OB/GYN
Dr. Goldberg is a board-certified OB/GYN and partner at Avery Center for OB/GYN located in Norwalk, Westport and Fairfield, CT. He is affiliated with Norwalk Hospital. After graduating with an accelerated BS/MD Degree from SUNY at Buffalo (Cum Laude), he completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset/Cornell University Medical College. He is also AIUM (American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine)-Certified. Dr. Goldberg has delivered over 5000 babies and believes that "women who exercise prior to and during pregnancy conceive easier, have less complications during pregnancy and have a much easier delivery."
Beth M. Iovinelli,
R.N., B.S.N., I.B.C.L.C. Registered Nurse, Certified Lactation Consultant
Ms. Iovinelli graduated with honors from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She is a member of the National Honorary Nursing Society, Sigma Theta Tau. Beth is currently working at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT as a Maternal Child Health Educator, teaching pre and postnatal classes and working as a Lactation Consultant. She has also worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse since 1994. She is currently working on a book which addresses the most commonly asked questions about pregnancy, labor, babies and the postpartum period. She is also an expert writer for Baby Zone one of the largest new moms' websites. Ms. Iovinelli has 2 children.
Laura Michelle Marks,
M.D., FAAP Pediatrician
Dr. Marks is a partner at Willows Pediatrics, Westport, Ct. She is affiliated with both Norwalk and Bridgeport Hospitals. Dr. Marks received her B.A. from University of Pennsylvania (cum laude) and her MD at Yale University School of Medicine. She did her Internship at the Department of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and completed her Residency and Fellowship at The Children's Hospital at Yale University. She is co-authored the book "The Headache Prevention Cookbook: Eating Right to Avoid Migraines and Other Headaches" and is currently working on the 4th edition of "The Complete Book of Breastfeeding" (co-authored with Sally Wendkos Olds and Dr. Marvin S. Eiger). Dr. Marks also acts as Medical Director for the Weston School District, and various camps. She has 2 sons and a daughter.
Sarah Najamy,
R.N., L.P.N., C.N.M. Certified Nurse Midwife
Ms. Najamy is currently a Certified Nurse Midwife in private practice in Bridgeport, CT. She holds her CNM from Downstate Medical Center, University of New York. She has been practicing obstetrics and holistic gynecology for over 20 years. Her wide range of knowledge includes nutrition, herbal remedies and other natural, alternative choices to support women through their life changes. Ms. Najamy was voted "Woman of Substance" by the Connecticut Post. She has 1 daughter.
